| Artist Heather Carter lives in the heart of the Kentucky hills with her family. By trade she owns and operates her own Pet Salon. She has been an aspiring artist all her life. Mostly self taught, Heather currently receives instruction at Plymale Gallery at Lexington's historic Victorian Square as well as various workshops. She considers herself a Wildlife and Western Artist. Horses and dogs are very special to her, so you will see them portrayed in many of her paintings. Being in nature and on the back of a horse are two of Heather's passions. Heather limits her paintings to all originals. She is constantly taking photographs as reference material for future paintings. Please check this site for updated works and events.
